My Image on SkateBoard Griptape? Yes Please! & Derby Update!

So I was contacted yesterday by a sponsored skateboarder asking if I would like my image to be on his sponsors companies new line of grip tape for their boards. I got more details and agreed. There is also a contest, after they get a certain number of people to put on the griptapes they are going to start selling them and whatever girl gets the most images sold gets a complete skateboard fully gripped with their image. Awesome! And the winners image will be griptaped on some professionals boards for the Xgames and other things like that. So if i won my image would be on some pree high profile skateboarders boards. Im ok with that. I have already picked the picture Im going to send in, and now im waiting for the high quality image to be sent to my email since i didnt have it and it will be sent! Ill keep you all updated on the progress of that project.

Onto other news, I am finding out that you cannot put 40 or more girls together in the same area and expect them ALL to get along. If you cant put your differences aside and work as a TEAM member then maybe you should re-think your decision to join a TEAM sport. Until you can play like a team member you will always be the weakest link. I am not singling anyone out, I am making a statement. A very factual statement.

If you are offended by anything i've said, Im not sorry. Im done being sorry for offending people. Dont read it if you dont like it. Dont do it if you dont want it to be seen. I am a very blunt person, I say what I think and how I feel, and im not afraid to let anyone know this. I may be too much for you to handle. But thats how I am and thats how I like it. Its not your place to judge me, so dont, because I dont judge you.

Onto lighter news, I got my Derby name and number (Gift37) made into a decal and put on the back of my helmet! It looks so awesome, and now eeryone knows who I am! I want to do more designs still like up the right side of my helmet maybe stars or something like that, not sure yet. I want to get a cricut expression machine so I can make my own, then I can experiment. I've been pricing them online and think I found a really good deal on one. So after I get new skates ill see if I can acquire me one of those bad boys! Next I need to get a shirt with my derby name and number on it. Im not sure if we are supposed to be getting shirts no our own, or if we are doing team shirts soon so I havent done anything about it. I wont worry about it until they tell me otherwise.

And lastly the fundraising yardsale is coming up this saturday! Tomorrow im going to get the little tags to price tag all my stuff to sell, and 2 poster boards with some awesome markers so make some signs for the yardsale. Im excited about this because all the derby girls are pitching in with items for the sale and the more we sell, the more money for our team. So I have a busy day tomorrow preparing!
