So I'm sitting on my computer this morning and my favorite photographer, Urbanite imagery was online and asking who was bored. And I was so I got ahold of her and she said let's shoot! Ha ha I love her! So we did high fashion head shots. With some crazy makeup and then we did an alien style head shot. here's a sneak peak!
So i arrived at the transistor kinda early, juss to make sure I didn't get lost or anything, and no one was there yet so I waited. Busty and cookie showed up soon after and we went in together. it was kind of confusing to find because there's about 20 doors in this hallway and this random door in the middle had stairs inside that lead to the attic, which is where we were going. We helped Eric carry in equipment and then started setting up. We got straight to the button making! It was basically an assembly line. One person cut the sheets apart, 2 people cut the buttons off the sheets, and 2 people took turns shaping the buttons together with the machine. We used our entire stock of buttons then made magnets, as well as bought a bunch of Erics smaller buttons which we made almost all of, and about 112 of his bigger buttons since we ran out. while we were on button duty, pain in the Nikki was formatting and printing our names and numbers for our Jerseys and Ropeher was weeding the vinyl. We also had a few girls on quality control who were wedding the vinyl logos juss making sure they were all weeded. So that was cool. Then we had girls making bead bracelets and an entire table of duck taping projects going on. After we finished buttons I continued to cut them off the sheets for next time. After our Jerseys were all done we had people making custom items, shirts and hoodies, Ect. There were also some helmet vinyls and car vinyls made during the Party. It was so much fun and we can't thank Eric and his wife enough for making this all happen! You guys seriously rock and we love you bad! For those of you coming to our domestic dispute scrimmage on Feb 25th, make sure to check out our merch table because we have a ton of awesome stuff to sell this time around. The flea market was a success, we got alot of donations and sold a ton of stuff. We are planning on doing this monthly from now on. So don't miss the next market! And if you have anything to donate please let me know.

absolutely love getting to practice 3 times a week now plus recruiting Saturdays! Its so amazing to be a part of this wonderful group of ladies! I love them all! Tomorrow its our indoor flea market, held at the hive, which is the old food for less building in Spanish fork. The fun starts at 9 am and goes until 4 pm. You can also rent a both for 25 dollars and sell your own stuff if you'd like. So I better see you all there!
The next thing on my agenda its our team logo! Its finally 100 percent fine and I'm so excited because it looks amazing! I can't wait to have her on my helmet and my car! Yess! Plus our Jerseys should be ready for pickup today, and I can't wait to get them! We are having a merch part next Friday where we will be putting our names and numbers on our Jerseys plus our logo! I think I'm going to bring a hoodie or something and see if I can put it on there! Our logo is juss too awesome. We are also going to be making buttons and duct tape things to sell as merch. This party is going to be the best!
And last thing on todays agenda, the scrimmage on the 25th! Its the domestic dispute! Hvdds home teams introduction to the Derby world! Don't miss it!! Starts at 7, seating opens at 6 its 5 dollars to get in, bring a chair and blankets! See you there!

So it has been a very very very long time since I have posted. So I'm going to do am update with as much as I can remember and then juss start from there! Roller derby has been so amazing. We got a new building, the hive, which is the old food for less building in Spanish fork. It took us 2 months to clean and get ready but it was worth it. We have 2 tracks inside, our regular track that we play and practice on and then a fresh meat track for all the new people to complete their 12 week training program on. so that covers the building.
Next on the list is our teams. We got split into teams, 2 home teams and one travel team. The home teams are the Sirens of Steel and Rollin rebellion. The travel team its the Molly Morbids. I am on the Sirens of Steel and the Molly Morbids. The Sirens of Steel colors are orange and Steel grey and we ordered our team Jerseys sorry,.they should be here soon. The Rollin rebellion colors are purple and gold. They have their Jerseys but haven't got their numbers on the back yet. And the Molly
Morbids colors are pink and grey. Now we ordered our Jerseys from derby skinz and they sponsored us so we got ten percent off our entire order. Then the deerhunter sponsored us and paid for our entire team uniform order. So now we will have derby skinz logo on the back hem of our shorts and deerhunter logo on our bottoms! The uniforms were expensive too so we got really lucky to have them paid for.
Moving on, I am still on recruiting and have been getting alot of people to join us, referees included. We are still looking if anyone is interested. Juss let me know.
We have been playing games too, a few picnic scrimmages at the hive, a few scrimmages with the red Rockettes in sadly lake at the derby depot and we recently went to Moab and scrimmaged with their league and some leagues from Colorado. Things are getting so much better. We juss keep advancing as a league.
I got new gear to, new derby skinz shorts, new lift and separate shorts, new gumball toe stops, new pivot star warm up gear, and new poorjoy knee pads, as well as a new custom made Hvdd black scrimmaging Jersey with my name and number on the back. I'm going to order a white one too, soon.
