So Practice last night was brutal! We were skating foreverr, and doing alot of squatting which BURNS so much. Haha. Also we practiced plow stopping, which my wheels suck at cuz they are outdoor wheels so they catch on eerything and dont ever stop. But I get the concept of how to do it. And then T stops which I always practice now anyways, which are also hard on outdoor wheels. But im getting the hang of them too. Then we practiced Whips, and they are so fun. I need to get better at them though, I cant whip people very far yet! But it was my first time whipping anyone so ill get better. Then we practiced hip checks, and im alright at those when im not hitting my wheels against their wheels and making us both fall! Then we did scrimmages and it was alright, I blocked a few people and practiced skating with my legs wide so they couldn't get past. We all need to work on sticking together as a team and staying in a pack, instead of spreading all out. But we are working on it. Going to classic this week sometime also to skate some more. The more the better!
