Derby Practice!

So last night was derby practice, my first practice with my new skates! Yesss! I did wayy better than I usually do, of course though with new skates I would. I used to only be able to skate like 3 laps in one minute and this time I got almost 5, I was like 3 feet away from 5 laps! Hells yess! I was doing better crossovers and faster catching up when doing partner whips. It was awesome. I cant wait to order the custom made leather snouts for my skates to protect them when I fall! And i want to order new toe stops and laces! Then ill be good! Practice was awesome, we've been working hard on endurance training and i think im getting better!! We now have our official team applications so I have to fill that out and send it in with 45 bucks to get my name registered and then I have to pass my skills assessment and my rules test and ill be officially in the league. We all have to pass them. Once we do that we can start skating i our new building and get a new league picture done! Im excited, things are going awesome! More updates later!
