Deerhunter Calendar Shoot Update!

Soo, we shot for the deerhunter Calendar on Saturday. I was in 3 different shoots, 2 group shoots and then my singles shoot for Miss June. I cant give you any details about the group shoots, who was in them or what they were for but juss know they will be in the calendar. As for my Miss June shoot, I have 1 photo that I am releasing, its a Behind the scenes photo and its the only sneak peak you will get. So Enjoy it! The calender releases on December 1st. We will be throwing a release party at the Deerhunter in Spanish Fork and the calendar girls will be there for you to meet, take pictures with and have your calenders signed. So get the night off! Deerhunter calendar!!

I got into the deerhunter calendar for 2013! My month is June and my theme is sand dunes. I'm excited because I love the sand dunes and I'm going to have a friends badass sandcar as a prop. I can't even wait. This is Soo going to rock. Shoot taking place at the end of the month. :)

Spanish Fork

The hive update

So we were renting a building called the hive in Spanish fork where we played and practiced roller derby. Well we were only renting it and they have sold the building. So we have to move by August 16th. If anyone knows of any warehouse style buildings for rent locally, please let the happy valley derby Darlins know. We may have to practice at classic again for a bit until we get a new building, so keep your eyes out. Thank you!

Update

Wow its been kind of a while since I posted. So to update, I am in a marine calendar, I'll have to post the photo later because I'm posting this from mobile, but its a good photo. Next I was in a photoshoot for a friends hair school and they used my photo on the front page, I'll have to get the link for that later as well. I'm in contact with the photographer to get ahold of the other photos so I can put them in my portfolio. As soon as I get them I'll be posting. I don't have any other shoots lined up as of yet, but ilk keep you updated on that.

Roller derby had been going well, our travel team has only lost 1 game so far, and we juss added 3 new girls to the team and our new group of freshies graduated and got split into teams. So we are moving on. I currently am not skating, I don't have the time anymore with my job at night. So I'm nsoing and helping with events still but juss not skating. Which I really miss it, but hopefully next year I well have enough time to resume playing for next season. We will see.

Moving on, I have been uploading new tutorials to my YouTube channel lately so if you are bored or if you like to make Kandi, check it out! I'll post links to all of the above asap. K, I'm out! Ttyl

Molly Morbids 183, Nerg 87!

The uvu event was straight up amazing. We kicked trash and for it being our first game of the season as Molly Morbids, we did awesome. We have a really dedicated group of girls and I'm proud to be a part of this wonderful league!

HVDD's Molly Morbids Update!

So, Our Travel Teams opening game is very very soon! We will be playing at UVU on March 17th! Sadly I cannot be there, I have to work and couldn't get it off. But you should all still go! Its going to be an amazing game! Tickets are on sale for 10 dollars or 8 if you're a student, it will be 13 at the door if you cant get them in advance. Either way its gonna rock! GO MOLLY MORBIDS!

Onto the next news, last night our practice was amazing, we had photographers from the Daily Herald at our practice, taking videos and pictures for our article in the paper! So watch for that! Also we are going to be on the X96 morning show this coming up monday! So listen for that! They are also going to be announcing about us from now until our game, and giving away free tickets!!!!! Dont miss it!

Updates yaaa!

Soo we played our Domestic Dispute Scrimmage on the 25th, Sirens Of Steel vs Rollin Rebellion and we whooped them, 131 to 89. Overall it was a good game, crazy since we never played them before, but still amazing. The turnout was awesome, alot of people came out and we made more than we've ever made at a fundraising event before. So that was a definite plus. We had some badass merchandise from our Merch Party and things were juss really good all around. We have been practicing alot of strategies and teamwork which helped a TON. Then we had a kick ass afterparty at the deerhunter and got really drunk and had an awesome freakin time! It was worth it!

Our next game is the UVU event St. Pattys Day Smackdown! March 17th, tix are 10 bucks, 8 for students, 5 and under are free. Im going with F-Bomb and few other girls tomorrow from 10-2 to sell tix to the students and get some promoting about joining us in. So that should be good! Also we are practicing extra as molly morbids to prepare for the event. So we will see how it all goes down! The event is going to be massive, and i cant even wait! We have grown so much a league in the past year and im proud to be a part of something so amazing.

First photoshoot of 2012!

So I'm sitting on my computer this morning and my favorite photographer, Urbanite imagery was online and asking who was bored. And I was so I got ahold of her and she said let's shoot! Ha ha I love her! So we did high fashion head shots. With some crazy makeup and then we did an alien style head shot. here's a sneak peak!

Merch Party!

So i arrived at the transistor kinda early, juss to make sure I didn't get lost or anything, and no one was there yet so I waited. Busty and cookie showed up soon after and we went in together. it was kind of confusing to find because there's about 20 doors in this hallway and this random door in the middle had stairs inside that lead to the attic, which is where we were going. We helped Eric carry in equipment and then started setting up. We got straight to the button making! It was basically an assembly line. One person cut the sheets apart, 2 people cut the buttons off the sheets, and 2 people took turns shaping the buttons together with the machine. We used our entire stock of buttons then made magnets, as well as bought a bunch of Erics smaller buttons which we made almost all of, and about 112 of his bigger buttons since we ran out. while we were on button duty, pain in the Nikki was formatting and printing our names and numbers for our Jerseys and Ropeher was weeding the vinyl. We also had a few girls on quality control who were wedding the vinyl logos juss making sure they were all weeded. So that was cool. Then we had girls making bead bracelets and an entire table of duck taping projects going on. After we finished buttons I continued to cut them off the sheets for next time. After our Jerseys were all done we had people making custom items, shirts and hoodies, Ect. There were also some helmet vinyls and car vinyls made during the Party. It was so much fun and we can't thank Eric and his wife enough for making this all happen! You guys seriously rock and we love you bad! For those of you coming to our domestic dispute scrimmage on Feb 25th, make sure to check out our merch table because we have a ton of awesome stuff to sell this time around.
